# Digital transformation now sits in every leadership job

Digital transformation now sits in every leadership job, whether the job description admits it or not.

The boundaries between strategy, technology, operations, customer experience and organizational design keep thinning. Digital fluency has to become an organizational property. Each leader needs enough range to work across those seams and remain accountable for the choices made in their own part of the business.

Last week we've spent the Digital Week at SDA Bocconi. It moved across AI, digital sovereignty, manufacturing, customer engagement, spatial computing, blockchain and the human side of change. The subjects looked separate on the schedule; inside a company, they collide.

The Sapio case forced our group to build one coherent response across these domains. We brought together participants from Bocconi and ESADE, and the mix worked exceptionally well.

We also had excellent sessions with SDA Bocconi faculty and leaders from Sapio, Nexi, Prysmian, Accenture, Mumzworld/JADA Squad and AnotheReality, plus a day hosted at Cisco.

Completing the concentration takes me beyond halfway through the Executive MBA. The demanding case, very good company and great pacing made it a week I will remember.
